Founded by Reggie, a Haitian-born chef passionate about sharing his culture through food, Area 509 offers a unique, flavorful experience with authentic dishes like jerk chicken, island shrimp, pikliz, and more.
With roots in mobile food service and a growing customer base, the transition to a brick-and-mortar restaurant allowed Area 509 to expand its reach while staying true to its cultural and culinary heritage.

Area 509’s brand had momentum — but no web presence to match it. The business had grown from a food trailer into a full-service restaurant, yet online visibility was limited to word-of-mouth and sporadic social posts. Reggie needed a clean, mobile-friendly website where customers could quickly view the menu, find hours and location, and get a feel for the food and story behind the brand.
The challenge was to build something vibrant, modern, and easy to manage — without losing the authenticity, personality, and flavor that made Caribbean Taste a local favorite. Menu visibility and ease-of-use were top priorities, along with accessibility on mobile devices for people searching nearby.
Solution
WP New England built a bold, vibrant WordPress site that reflects the soul of Area 509. The homepage highlights signature dishes, business hours, and location in a streamlined layout, while the full menu is accessible in both PDF and on-page format.
